One of Brazil’s favorite sweets, the brigadeiro, made from the finest Belgian and French chocolate. That’s the recipe of the Brigadeiro Bistrô, which redesigned this traditional sweet with a hint of sophistication.
To transform this idea into a brand, we looked for inspiration to the classic paper liners that envelop the sweets. The “hand made” concept permeated throughout the visual identity; its typography is a reference to the handwritten blackboards in French bistros.
The project included the brand design and naming, as well as a portfolio that ranges from napkins to prints, menus, uniforms and the architecture of the store and kiosks. Everything was carefully designed to communicate the exclusivity of the artisan “hand-made” brigadeiro sweets, displayed in an elegant bistro-like setting.
The design of the brigadeiro packaging, with a see-through window in the format of the logo, features traditional prints with a simple “hand written” feel. The goal was to emphasize the flavor and sophistication of the brigadeiro, which makes an elegant gift.
